C.R.C.S.H. stands for the Costa Rican Case Study Home program developed by A Foundation. Inspired by the Case Study House program in the United States during the second half of the twentieth century, C.R.C.S.H. looks at successful models of industrialized housing worldwide and proposes a series of "attainable" (affordable and sustainable) homes designed to provide maximum comfort inhabiting the distinct varieties of tropical climate in Costa Rica. Specific prototypes were developed for the dry climate of the Northern Pacific as well as the humid climate of the Southern Caribbean.
